FEMA Maps Online
It helps to have an address to find the spot on the map. Some areas of town are NOT updated yet with the new information on the maps. But some spots like near the Woods Apts. have seen a rise of 3.3 ft of the 100 year flood plain in the new draft maps. FEMA officials said they were rushing to get whatever info they had, out to the public so people would have some guidance on how high to elevate homes as they rebuilt. It will be a year or so before some of this information is known, and we will be watching for any news.
