Floatfest Permit

February 27 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Please mark your calendar now for Feb. 27 when Guadalupe County will have a public hearing on the Float Fest permit for a mass gathering on July 21, 22 and 23 in 2018.  1:30 pm is the time in the same place as before in downtown Seguin. The permit is for music to go on till 11 p.m. on that Friday and Sunday, and till 1 a.m. on Saturday night.  The permit is for 30,000 people per day, much larger than previous years.  Talk to neighbors and try to carpool.

Take Care of San Marcos Trees- Dunbar Park

We will work on mulching, pruning, root collar excavations, trunk guard installations, invasive removal, planting and gps. Watercress Clean Up in Sewell Park

lease help Kristy of the Meadows Center in a cleanup of the watercress in Sewell Park that is choking out the light for the wild rice in that area.  Looking for volunteers Fri morning 4/17. 72 Festival

The festival name honors the constant temperature of our river and is the celebration at the end of a month of Thursday night wonderful concerts in the park. On Saturday, April 28th, from 12pm – 10 pm, it will be  an all-day music, culture and education festival focusing this year on the San Marcos River Watershed. Primary Run Offs

Meadows Center Workday for May Postponed
