EastSide Preserve Workdays

SMRF was gifted 30 acres alongside the river and has been working to restore the land after years of industrial and agricultural use. Volunteers are working to stabilize eroding banks, replanting native trees and shrubs, removing invasive plants, and cleaning up years of trash and flood debris.

Currently we are unlikely to accept volunteers or groups events for this area.
If you would like the chance to help restore this property, then keep an eye out for sign-ups for river cleanup events hosted through the City of San Marcos & Keep San Marcos Beautiful:

• Annual Great Texas River Clean Up (Spring) in March of every year

• Annual Fall River Clean Up in October of every year
