Rene Perez

Rene Perez is a prominent local artist who has called San Marcos home for almost 40 years.  The institutional knowledge he has about the history of the area is so important to our foundation. 

Rene considers the San Marcos River to be a constant source of inspiration for his art and his life. Rene is an avid snorkeler, kayaker, documentarian, and protector of these waters.
